Ohkey so I am going for masters jn information technology (MScIT) this year and I am confused about which clg should I go to?

Here are my options I have in my mind:

I am not a travelling person and avoid it mostly that's why which one you guys think would be best?

Or if you guys have any other colleges in mind please do tell me :)

My Experience

Back in November 2024, I got a fungal infection around my groin/jock area. I’m not exactly sure how it started, but it could’ve been from:

Tight underwear

Sweat/moisture staying trapped

Staying wet around the groin area for long periods

At first, it was just itching frequently, so I made a huge mistake — I used a steroid cream thinking it was a normal rash or irritation.

Biggest Mistake: Using Steroid Creams

If you have a fungal infection, avoid steroid creams unless a proper dermatologist specifically tells you to use one with antifungal treatment.

The steroid cream:

Gave relief for a few hours

Reduced redness temporarily

But the itching kept coming back

And it actually made the infection spread more

This condition is sometimes called tinea incognito, where steroids hide the symptoms while the fungus keeps growing underneath.

First Doctor Visit

I eventually went to a doctor and got prescribed:

Luliconazole cream

Itraconazole tablets

A medicated body cleanser/soap

In my opinion, Luliconazole was the only thing that truly helped. There are multiple brands with slightly different formulas.

I used the treatment for around 4 weeks, and the infection started looking much better, so I stopped the treatment early thinking it was gone.

That was another mistake.

Why It Came Back

Even if the infection looks gone, the fungus can still survive underneath the skin.

I stopped treatment too early, and the infection came back again and again for months.

Over time it spread:

Around my jock area

Inner thighs

Nearby skin folds

The itching became intense, and scratching constantly damaged my skin. Some areas became raw, so applying cream started burning badly.

Important Warning: Fungal Infections Can Spread to Family Members

One thing I wish I knew earlier:

Separate your personal items immediately.

I didn’t realize it was fungal at first, so it spread to my family members through shared items/contact.

Things you should NOT share:

-Underwear

-Towels

-Bedsheets

-Soap

-Clothing

-Grooming tools

Thankfully, my family got treated quickly because their infections were caught early.

Mine lasted much longer because:

-I experimented with steroid creams

-Used random cooling powders

-Delayed proper treatment

Expensive Dermatologist Visit

In November 2025, I visited a dermatologist again.

The appointment + medicines cost around ₹2500 in one visit.

He prescribed:

Similar antifungal medicines

Luliconazole cream again

The progress was still very slow.

What Finally Helped Me

The thing that finally worked best for me was:

Lullilok Cream (Luliconazole-based)

Even though it had the same active ingredient, this brand worked much better for me personally.

It was:

-Cheap

-Effective

-Less irritating

-Showed noticeable improvement

I also consistently used:

-Antifungal body cleanser/soap

-Proper hygiene

-Dry clothing

-Loose fitting clothes

Because of the infection and irritation, I avoided wearing underwear for a long time to reduce friction and moisture.

DO’s ✅

  1. Keep the area dry

Moisture helps fungus grow.

  1. Use antifungal medication consistently

Even after symptoms disappear, continue treatment for at least 1–2 more weeks (or as your doctor advises).

  1. Wear loose, breathable clothes

Cotton underwear and loose pants help a lot.

  1. Change clothes after sweating

Especially after workouts or long days outside.

  1. Separate personal items

Use separate:

Towels

Underwear

Bedsheets

Wash them regularly.

  1. See a dermatologist if it keeps returning

Recurring fungal infections may need longer treatment.

DON’Ts ❌

  1. Don’t use steroid creams blindly

This made my infection much worse.

  1. Don’t stop treatment early

Even if it looks healed.

  1. Don’t scratch aggressively

It damages skin and can spread the infection further.

  1. Don’t keep the area sweaty/wet

Fungus thrives in warm, moist environments.

  1. Don’t share towels or clothes

It can spread to others easily.

ps. Used AI to format.

Lmk if this help you or not. Stay safe.

As the title says she wanna gift me ₹5k worth clothes from Zara or H&M but I am thinking that would just buy me 1 outfit while if I buy from random sites or place I can get so many clothes.

So I am confused what should I do?

Do you guys have some good clothing suggestions or brands at affordable rates?

And if you guys have any suggestions leave them :)
