Technology sucks. I hate my phone. hate that my classes require online submissions. I hate that I have to learn through a screen. I hate PowerPoint slides. I hate ads. I hate how boredom in a thing of the past because of computers and the internet constantly at our fingertips. I hate smartphones and smart tvs and smart fridges and smart smart SMART! Shut up! I don’t want everything to be fucking smart for me! Let me do it! STOP TRYING TO PULL MY ATTENTION IN 1000 DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS ALL THE FUCKING TIME I CANT TAKE IT. I need to get rid of all of it now. I hate the internet. I hate the tech landscape nowadays. It could have been one of the coolest things we as a species have done but instead it’s taken up all of our time and made us addicted to all the pretty colors and light they shove down our throat so they can advertise their dirty ass products. I miss the mundane. I miss being bored. I miss when people could be bored together instead of going on their phones when conversation gets stale. I miss the small boredoms and the little moments that aren’t important but still FEEL important. I just want it all fucking gone.

Alright, I have been looking for a good desktop for myself. I’m a uni student and I mainly use my computer for school. However, I do in fact play a few video games. Nothing crazy, mainly Minecraft or the sims or whatever. The problem is Baldurs Gate 3, which I also play. Obviously needs more than a typical school computer would run, so I’ve been struggling to find something. Bg3 is pretty much the only graphics intensive game I play. I’m not interested in building my own computer, or learning all the parts. I just wanna do my schoolwork and play some games at the end of the day without putting me into more debt than I already am in. Anyone know a computer that might be good for me? I’m fine with All-in-ones, and I guess a pre-built pc. I’m just not that big a computer person so I don’t want to learn the whole thing to built and replace pc parts. I’d prefer to spend around 1k, but I can’t feesibly do more than 1.5k. I found this one but again, I have no real clue about computers. Thoughts?
I'm a college student who wants to play minecraft with my friends over summer break. We all use Java and we all have some mods we wanna add. Have no idea how to do this, so how do you play with people long distance?
