Hi all,

I've been on a long journey to find running shoes that don't make it agonizing for me to run in and I've tried so many shoes.

I have relatively wide feet, I would describe their shape as "fan" like, but my heel is narrow, so if I go wider, my heel slips and if I go narrower, my heel doesn't slip, but it's not wide enough.

I went to running specialist store yesterday and I eventually asked to try on the Hoka Clifton 10 wide. It actually fit the best out of the 20+ shoes I've tried, but I wanted to find out if anyone else has had similar struggles.

You can name a shoe and I've probably tried it. I thought the New Balance 1080 or 880 in 2E would be good, but my heel was slipping out very easily.
