If the future models are going to follow 5.5 pricing and usage consumption, then 5.4 needs to be phased out slower than usual.

5.4 is the only model that allows even the Plus plan to go a long distance while using xhigh. And results-wise, I prefer 5.4 xhigh over every 5.5 variant except 5.5 xhigh. Despite the advertised "token efficiency" of 5.5, it drains usage much quicker. Even medium is a drain.

Please keep 5.4 as the standard budget model for many months to come.
