I just finished my access course whats next?

I did my access course online through DLC and got around 51 distinctions given by my tutor, and now it has been sent for moderation to ascentis. Will they mark my assessment differently from my tutor? And how long will they take to send me the diploma so i upload it to my uni?

What are the best charity bursaries and scholarships for uk undergraduates?

I will move out for uni for my undergraduate but my biggest fear is not making end meets since most of my SFE and university bursary will go towards my rent and i will be left with £100-150 for food and other expenses. 150 won't be enough and i really can't get a job because my course is very demanding and i can't spend allot of time working while there will be posh kids who will have no worries and will leave me behind academical.

There aren't many university based scholarships, but even the ones that exist only give basics like 10% of tuition or, at maximum, they will provide you work placements and stuff like that. My parents are also not in any position to help me financially. Im literally losing sleep thinking about how will i manage at uni. Im also picking as much overtime as there is, and my expenses are lowered to max, like i would just buy a chocolate and drink tap water instead of buying a meal deal.

I was wondering if anyone knows any charity or corporation that gives bursaries or scholarships?

Why did the boris wave happen?

From 2021 to 2024 skilled worker migration and care workers and their dependents went up to 4.6 million and net migration during these 3 years was 2.6 million and most people weren't from the EU.

The average wage of the boris wave is 29k which means most of these people are low skilled migrants, which also means they weren't necessary. Sure we did need care workers after covid but why so many? And why hasn't there been any action taking after fraud and scams were proven in this sector's visa?

I just wanted to ask the prospective of skilled migrants from this sub because most migrants in this sub are legit and are an asset to this country but the boris wave is the biggest economic liability of the 21st century because it will cost billions to maintain them annually

Can i talk back to my CTM?

I work in a convenience store, and there is a CTM i hate. They would literally talk to me differently than they would to other colleagues and if they are talking with other colleagues and if i try to join in they just send me away with a work and always change facial expressions with me and they literally behave roude with me.

I always let it slide but lately they have started laughing at me and talking shit at my back with other, like why would you spend your energy on me anyway, and i have found out and i can't stop thinking about it because i can't remember if i did anything bad to them or anything that would make them against me apart from my skin colour and culture background.

But I've had enough of this and i have decided to talk back to them and give them the same energy that they give me, but im also concerned if they could fire me? Like during my probation they tried their best to get ridd of me by talking shit and making shit up about me to the store manager but i have honestly had enough

I have noticed international students from Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, kuwait, and even Saudi Arabia are progressive muslims because their females would wear westenised clothes, smoke, party, and in some cases drink aswell and men also do the same. However when we look at south asian local muslim they are mostly conservative muslims where the girls would be in hijab or in a burqa and they won't leave their house unnecessarily while the men would often be allowed to do whatever they want.

There are two types of UK mosques, one that are funded directly by Saudi Arabia and the other type of mosques are funded by Qatar through the muslim brotherhood and many islamic charities like islamic relief, but both types of mosque teach conservative islam and their teachings are based to never let muslim question, if i explain myself.

So why are Middle Eastern muslims progressive while UK local muslims more radicalised if the mosques in the UK are getting funded by the middle east?

Im from a lower class background, but i will be going to a top RG uni which is known to have private school kids and since i am from an ethnic minority i think i will struggle to fit in. I live in a ghetto area, and im from rough neighbourhoods and many of my mates ended up being "road mans" and dealers and thankfully i didn't choose that path but i know my life is going to be very difficult because i will struggle to socialise in uni and to network aswell

So are there any tips for me on how i could socialise in uni?
