A bit of context about me: Can arrange capital upto 8L. Neither do I or any of my family member have any business experience. My education is kind of fucked up so I don't have that safety net. I live in the most populated city in MH and am comfortable travelling anywhere.

I was thinking of manufacturing the custom paper bags in my dad's hometown which is nearby (1-2 hour travel with traffic). We won't have to worry about rent and labour much. For getting leads, I was thinking about going to every decent size stores and restaurants and asking them.

There are many questions I have. Will 8L be enough? Is there any better way to get leads? There's already many paper bag suppliers in my city, will mine work? What kind of problems will i face? Should I take the risk or choose some safer business?

Almost every single political post I come across on Twitter, YT and reddit speak out only against freebies. Why does nobody really mention corruption? It's actually way worse than freebies.

I'm on egghead rn.

Not looking for anything unique, just basic businesses which work well in cities. I'm not from the business world so it's really difficult for me to estimate what kind of returns these businesses make. My family also kind of looks down upon small businesses even though they probably earn alot more than we think they do.

I can work in Mumbai, Thane or Navi Mumbai, you can have that as a reference point.
