the speakers are kinda dogshit.as you can..see? hear.. this makes it considerably better. I'm not doing any pre amplifying, (which i would like to do, but i'm also unsure if that would spoil the speakers)
will this damage it atleast? also my preamp question remains.

Looking to buy a used precision, REALLY Concerned about longevity.

I'm nearly about to bite the bullet on a dell precision I found, 36k INR.

Specs are as follows:
Dell Precision 5560
Intel Xeon W-11955M (8 Core)
16gb DDR4 (16x1)
512GB NVMe SSD
4GB Nvidia RTX A2000 GPU
86 wh battery (health not confirmed yet)

I was actually in the market for a much older computer, like the older 8th/9th gen precisions or older p series thinkpads, but this one has way better performance for a similar price.

And I'm PRETTY SURE they have way better build quality than these modern ones
One of the reasons I was even willing to buy used was the confidence in the build quality.
Additionally, I'm pretty sure the P series thinkpads have better build quality..I wasn't even willing to buy a precision at first.
if yall think I'm gonna face reliability issues PLEASE let me know.

So now, my main question is
if I run
Benchmarks
Stress tests (cpu ssd ram gpu)
Basic peripheral checks
Battery health and physical checks

And everything is in normal levels
Am I in the clear to buy the machine? or am I likely to have problems in the future with it?
IF this precision isn't reliable, what laptops do yall suggest in its place?

Usecase if that's important:
Light after effects,
Davinci resolve 1080p/4k editing
Basic ms office work
Photoshop/LRC

Thank you

I'm about to purchase a use Dell Precision 7540, But its the 64 whr battery model instead of the 97 whr one which I want, is it possible to upgrade the 64 whr model to 97? I tried looking for information on it and it SEEMS like you can. But I really need confirmation before buying the laptop. Please, owners, or someone who knows, tell me! Thank you.
