So today, when coming back from work, it was probably around 10 pm., I saw a little girl selling flowers on a bicycle painted white, with a basket in front. It looked like a nice scene, so I felt like buying some. Though I didn’t have any knowledge about buying flowers, and I didn’t even have anyone to give them to, but still, I bought them.

After reaching home, there’s this ladies PG next to my house. I saw a girl on the first floor hanging washed clothes. I asked her to come down. I didn’t expect anything. She hesitated at first, but came down. And when she did… oh man, she was really pretty. 🫣

I told her the entire story and gave her the flowers, then asked, “Will you accept this?”

Her first reaction was, “Yeah, yeah, I saw that flower bicycle too… did they give it to you for free?”

I had to explain, no, I bought it with my own money. I just wanted to prove that chivalry is still alive, nu sonnaen.

She laughed and accepted it. Then she actually asked my name. We shook hands, and interestingly her brother has the same name as me. Hmm… coincidence.

We said, “Well nice meeting you,” and went our ways. It felt like a wholesome, slightly awkward moment to end the day.

After a few days, I really wanted to talk to her again. I didn’t see her for a week, so I asked another girl from the PG to call her outside. She said she informed her.

I waited outside for almost like 40 minutes… she never came.

Honestly, that felt like the longest wait ever. I still don’t know why she didn’t come. It was a really nice memory until then, but after that, it became a bit of a sucky memory.

P.S. This happened long back; I just felt like venting.
