How did your ex keep moving the goal post?

Need some stories of the good that came out from this. Really trying to take this short term pain for long term growth for myself. It’s been two months and I still miss him.

The biggest thing I’m working through post this break up is getting my sexuality back. I was so free flirty and fun before and due to my ex having majorrrrrrrr issues in the bedroom (then blaming me for not giving him the chase / being too supportive) I now have lost my ~mojo~ and I’m pissed I let him take that

Recently I’ve been making more money, I’m about to be 32, and I feel like I look better than ever but would like to stay this way and feel this good for a while.

Give me your best advice for where spending money on health, looks, feeling good is worth the investment

Tell me give me the good bad and the ugly of living in manhattan at 32. For context I’m 32 female, single, have a great job make 300k and have a lot of flexibility and love to travel.

But I’ve never lived in NYC!!! Kinda nervous!!!

EDIT: my concern is making friends / I travel for work / wfh and I worry about finding single friends at my age and how do I do that

I moving from California to NYC late summer / fall. How do I find an apartment? Should I get a broker?

I want a one bedroom, my budget is $4k. How soon do I need to start looking/ be ready to move? Luckily my current place is month to month.

Should I ship my stuff from CA to NYC or just sell most of it? How’s shipping directly to an apartment…
