Adapting to quetiapine side effects/polypharmacy

Hi everyone. I recently cross tapered off geodon and onto quetiapine. I was still deeply hypomanic/depressed on geodon, so we added adjunctive quetiapine. Even at 50mg, it was almost miraculous. Because of that, we decided to replace geodon fully with quetiapine.

However, I feel like I’ve been living in a fog. I take 300mg XR plus a 25mg IR booster right before bed. However, because the doctor still didn’t want to change too many things at once, I’m still on a sleep aid. We plan to come down on that next week.

I also have fibromyalgia, so I take lyrica 200mg 2x day. My rheum lowered it to 100 in AM and 200 PM this week because of side effects. TBD on the results. The combination of all of this is making me feel literally inhuman.

I think because I was cycling on geodon but am now stable, the doses of all my meds are in need of decreasing, or straight up in need of discontinuation.

Does anyone have experience with a situation like this, and were you ever able to adjust? After spending two grueling months cross tapering onto quetiapine, it’s just not realistic to switch again, esp because my mood is very stable.
