What is this plant?
For context, I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I also garden and routinely compost kitchen scraps. Once it looks like soil, I spread it wherever I have a low spot, including near downspouts. It could also be something that blew in with the wind a seed dropped or pooped out by a bird.
It sprouted in the winter but we didn't have any freezing temperatures and it was comfortable most days without any jacket. Summer is just starting, so it hasn't experienced our summer yet. It literally has had very good temperatures for any plant.
