Brown? Olive? Amber? Some of my friends say hazel

brown? amber + brown? olive brown? different people i met have been insisting for the past year that I have hazel eyes. i am not convinced but i have to admit that i have not seen my shade of brown anywhere else. is this a unique shade of brown or is there a name for it? or is this a combination of colors (my primary theory is that it's a combination of amber and brown and it makes it look olive somehow, hence the hazel comments). in some lights i do see a hint of green in an olivey brown sort of a way, but other times i just see shades of brown masquerading as green. please help a girl out bc now I'm invested in knowing if this is a common shade/combo of colors that is easy to name. it wasn't until people pointed it out that i realized it is kind of unique, or at least i dont often see other brown eyes like this.

Brown? Olive? Amber? Some of my friends say hazel

i cannot for the life of me figure out what this color would be called, because my eyes look different from my other brown eyed friends but they are not quite hazel. best guess is olive brown, but is there a word for it? my friends who have green eyes will INSIST that i have hazel eyes but i can't quite agree. in some lights i see hints of green, and at other times i simply feel like it must be shades of brown and amber creating an illusion of an olivey tone. please help me! i am now fixated on labelling this shade or perhaps naming this shade of brown.

In my language we don't have 'hazel' - green or brown?

So I guess these would be called hazel in English..? But since we do not have this term in my language I was wondering if you could also help me end a debate on whether these would be called brown or green if you had to choose

Are my eyes blue or gray?

I can’t tell, and I’ve had mixed reactions. I normally squint when smiling so these pictures are cropped from candids in varying lighting

How much do limbal rings fade?

I'm late 20s, and I keep reading they fade more and more with age :( They're my favorite part about my eyes and was just curious, I can't find any before and after on Google
