I like that cuz even though we don’t know the circumstances behind each loss, it says to me that he wasn’t an ace in his career and has taken losses even before meeting Ryunosuke in court.
It’s just another one of those cases of “looks can be deceiving” I guess
I swear, Pokemon and Megaten just goes hand-in-hand. Kudos to Yusei!

I posted my own Demi-Absol and Kuzunoha Ninetales sketchs on here and on Tumblr a while back, and a Raidou fan and Tumblr artist (Yusei-vs-the-blank-canvas) saw them and were very impressed with what they saw. Turns out PKMN and Megaten combined can inspire others to create works of art as well. Who knew?
They asked for my permission if they could draw my characters as well, and I agreed on the condition that they credit me with the original concept and idea of said characters. This is Demi-Absol drawn by Yusei; it’s leagues better than mine. I couldn’t ask for anything more than this :]

Tbh this is one of my top two favorite cases in the entire duology. There were two moments during the first trial (where he didn’t have Iris or Susato) where Ryunosuke put forth excellent arguments that Van Zieks couldn’t counter right away. It felt like Ryu was gonna win on Day 1 all by himself. It was moreso Harebrayne who just couldn’t keep his mouth shut.
It felt so similar to case 4-4 in the modern day, Where you play as Phoenix in court, he’s all by himself, and (to me at least) he’s at his most confident

P.S.: I forgot to say this, but thanks to everyone who helped me figure out the best ‘Mon for Aleph :)
Essentially all of the duels between human bosses end with the boss saying something like “You’re strong. I gave it my all and I still lost… Oh well. I’ll just have to train harder.” And then show respect towards you.
I can’t help but imagine how funny it would be if there was a particular human boss in a duel, that boss is just spiteful and salty. Like you beat them and they’re like “F**k you, Anjin/Hidechiyo-dono/Takechiyo-dono…”
I recently found out about companion voice mods (specifically the Xelzaz and Remiel additional dialogue mods) and I’m just so envious of the players that are able to download mods like that. My hat is off to them.
I have Skyrim on PS5, but because (from what I understand) Sony restricts mods like that, I’ll always be so close, yet so far away.
I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m maulding, I’m just disappointed at PS for anything else. Seeing mods like that, among others, really makes me wanna download the game and play through it all over again after so many years away, just to see what my companions would say. Oh well. 😅
