Ciao ragazzə.

Grazie in anticipo!

Grazie in anticipo!

Hey guys! It's been almost a decade (sigh) that i don't have anymore a PC built by myself, maybe i don't even remember how to do it anymore lol.

Anyway, life, university and work just kicked in in these years and i completely abandoned my old pc (built in 2017) at my mom's house. In the next months i'll be more stable and i'm dreaming about building another one and hope to cultivate again my biggest hobby, videogames :).

So since i know it's not a good time for pc building (but for the world in general) i would like to reuse some things from my old computer, case and PSU especially.

The problem is that the PC has been switched off for more than 3 years now so i wanted to know from you if you know some softwares to check if i can still use the PSU and that it wont damage the new components.

the PSU is Corsair Rm850X 80 Plus Gold, purchased in 2021 to replace the old one that was giving me problems and i think that last time that i switched on my computer was april 2023.

Would it still be safe to use that PSU after a deep cleaning or you think is better to buy another one?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, so long story short: it's been years that I have this problem on my skin (Arms, eyes, legs and now also belly), since 2021 for sure (but probably even earlier, I remember that in 2017 I was complaining about it but in 2021 it got super bad because it spread also on my eyes).

I went to the hospital, I did a skin biopsy and also Phototherapy for 4 months. The phototherapy did not bring any progress.

The result of the exams was: chronic superficial perivascular dermatitis with lymphocyte predominance

When I showed the exam result to my dermatologist that was following me during the Phototherapy sessions at the hospital (and the exam was done in the same hospital), she answered me saying: I have no idea what that is.

So I quit Phototherapy that after 4 months was changing nothing and also I lost hope to find any solution.

Only one drug works and is Tacrolimus 0,1%. And it works only on my eyes. side effect: swollen and hot eyes, can't sleep with it on, can't properly drive if it burns too much.

Back in 2024 I decided to try a private dermatologist and it gave me a Cortisone cream that had no effect. And urea creams that have only a partial effect, after a while they also stop working (besides being very expensive).

For a couple of years at the seaside during vacations, the situation improved significantly, with super smooth skin.

So I started to think that it was because I was living in a very cold place for my skin (and in winter the situation was actually getting worse compared to summer) but now I've been living in a place near the sea for over six months and with a standard temperature of 29 celsius degrees, and unfortunately, the situation is still the same after an initial improvement.

Now I have no hope left and I've resigned myself to not having a precise diagnosis and therefore a cure, but maybe someone here can enlighten me :/.

Thanks in advance for reading until here, hope someone can help me.
