I’ve lived here several years but my friend is coming next month for 5 days. We’ve never been able to have this much time together in fort Myers/cape and I want to show her my new home.
Ideas for restaurants/bars/hangouts and a bit of touristy stuff too? It’ll be memorial weekend so that might help with events
I seem to have a thought about a person or event, and then either the person comes up in some way, or the event happens. Thought it was a one off, but it’s been happening for ages. My mom has the same thing. Unfortunately, I can’t channel it but wish I could.
For example, I thought about an old friend of mine who hasn’t talked to me in months; and later that day, she texted me
And today; I thought about a different friend who grew apart and an hour later saw her brother was arrested.
It happens a lot these days. How can I channel it? lol. Would be nice to know my predictions are predictions.
My shelter ACD has been with us 2 months. He’s SO SCARED of my husband. Which is weird because my husband is way nicer than me (I’m always training him and being the strong arm lol) he’s not scared of me or the kids anymore, he was at first though.
Anyone have advice on how to help? I’m wondering if he’s scared of men. But he likes my dad. My husband thinks our dog is just racist 🤣
Hey, my friend lost a friend in 2022 to suicide and the anniversary is coming up which destroys him for several weeks. I wanted to do something nice as maybe a memorial gift for his office. I’m also offering to spend the day with him if he wants so he doesn’t have to be alone. Any ideas?
I got a shelter ACD who’s around 1. Can I see your ACD’s that are around 1-3? I sometimes think he’s mixed cuz he doesn’t have the stocky look 🤷🏼♀️ but he was also malnourished and had worms when I got him
genuinely curious how burrowing owls are still a threatened species here? We have a new squad (idk the term lol) move into empty lots around us every few months. Seems like theyre rampant.
