We just got our dog from a rescue four days ago! He's about 12 weeks. This breed is so smart, he already knows some basic commands and is good at solving puzzles. Very social. We have been taking him out on hikes while we play disc golf. I'll be following this for more tips but just wanted to say hi!

The London bridge strategy is a new addition.
So last week I took Bev on 2.5 mile hike and she was great, except that she tried to drag me down every rocky slippery slope, lol! For my safety, I used the commands wait and heel, but she was still dragging me. This week, it’s like she figured it out. She walked so good on all of the hills and slopes staying right next to me. She learns so quickly! She is sofa king smart!!
She is also wild in the car. She has done some damage to the window sills in the back seat and was blasting my ears with her high pitched bark whenever she saw a bike, another dog, or even people in their own cars. I also could not use the windshield wipers since she would attack them. Someone one here suggested kenneling her in the car and I did choose to take that advice. I had to work really hard to get her to go in, I even had to use leftover meat as a treat to get her to do it. Now she jumps in there all on her own and my car and my ears are so much happier, lol!
I guess I just felt like bragging about our progress today 😄
