Just a Kristen appreciate post. She was, and has been, so raw and real about postpartum struggles. She is so strong and I hope she is doing better now that she’s through the deep of it. She deserves a much better partner.
Hi all. I’ve had my crabs for about two years now. I did extensive research and spent quite a bit of money to get them the proper tank and supplies (huge thanks to this group for advice as well). All but one of my crabs stay buried almost the entire time. Rarely even coming up to eat. I can’t believe they would be molting this whole time (especially bc they are smaller). Could they still be stress hiding after two years (I did adopt them and their prior environment was not good at all)? I do have cameras up but most I never even see. I also have a small dog who tends to bark at times. Could this scare them? Should I move the crabs to a different floor? Or is this just typical crab behavior? Just worried about my little crabbies. How concerned, generally, should someone in the eastern part of the US be at this point? Are we thinking this has the legs for becoming pandemic levels? My son is immune compromised and I still have COVID pandemic ptsd so looking for actual facts and not the potential fear mongering being spread baselessly. Tia!
