Hello! I am new to PbP (read: never played before and learned what it is a month or two ago) but I would really like to learn. I have played TTRPGs at the table with folks, but I think with my creative writing background I'd really enjoy both playing in and running games this way.
My goal is to eventually run some games through my Discord to playtest a setting I'm working on, with the use of threads in private playtest channels to separate the different items to keep track of (if this is done differently in other servers I'm all ears).
I would love to try playing in a short game run using Discord so I can actually understand how this works and how to do it myself down the line. I would be forever grateful to anyone willing to let me give it a try for a day or week, or be a lurker in their campaign. :)
I am not posting this in the weekly thread because I don't know exactly what I am looking for/what would be best for me in terms of going about this. If it is better over there though please let me know!
