Gemini sometimes doesn't respond to "Hey Google"

I have an S24 Ultra, and sometimes Gemini won't respond to "Hey Google". That little green icon on the top right of my screen appears signaling it detects my voice, but nothing happens. If I manually open the Gemini app to give it a command after pressing the microphone icon, it works. Talk to Gemini hands-free is on, and turning it off and back on does nothing. The only consistent fix I've found is restarting my phone, which is pretty annoying.

Does anyone know of some potential fixes?

I absolutely loved the Logitech G604 way back when, and then eventually moved on to the Naga Pro v1 with its very similarly designed 6 thumb button plate. Unfortunately it has started to crap out on me.

I'm not opposed to just upgrading to the Naga Pro v2(does this ever go on sale for less than ~170$?), but figured I'd see if there were any other options.

I currently have internet provided through AT&T Uverse. I don't want to have a lapse in service before Xfinity gets setup. My plan was to wait to cancel AT&T until after the Xfinity appointment sets everything up. Would this potentially cause any issues, or am I fine?

I often like to start Gemini with "Hey Google" then whatever I need (usually start a timer or set a reminder). Sometimes I've noticed Gemini won't respond. My phone picks up my voice no problem: My icons at the top right (battery level, wifi, etc) swap to a green icon with a microphone momentarily or a small green dot will display next to those other icons. Same thing happens if I hold my power button to try and start it. If I start voice recorder, it picks up my voice no problem.

Everything (as far as I know) is enabled in gemini settings: talk to gemini hands-free, as well as gemini on lock screen. Turning gemini hands free off and on seems to do nothing. The only fix I've found so far is completely restarting my phone, which can be pretty annoying.

Does anyone know of any other potential fixes?
