I built Run4ever, a browser-based incremental running game where you coach passive runners

Playable Link: https://run4ever.win

Platform: Web (Mobile and PC)

Description: Run4ever is a free to play browser-based incremental/idle running game where you manage up to 3 runners and try to build long-term progress over time.

Each runner keeps running passively, generating distance while you return to check progress, use boosters, improve your strategy, and climb the leaderboards. The game is currently in beta, with players already registered from 38 countries, and I’m still actively balancing progression, boosters, rewards, and the leaderboard experience.

There’s also a Bitcoin integration: players can earn small amounts of sats based on the distance their runners run multiplied by their player level.

The game is fully free to play. Optional extras like Pro, which adds a few perks, and boosters, which can enhance your runners, can be purchased with regular currencies or with Bitcoin via Lightning or on-chain payments.

I’d love for people to try it and tell me what feels clear, confusing, too slow, or motivating enough to come back the next day.

Free to Play Status:

  • [x] Free to play
  • [x] Demo/Key available
  • [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: Solo dev

I built Run4ever, a browser-based incremental running game — short demo available without signing up

Welcome

Hi all,

I’ve been working on Run4ever, a browser-based incremental/idle game about training runners over the long term.

Create up to 3 runners and coach them over time. Your runners keep accumulating distance, even while you’re offline, earning badges and climbing the weekly/global leaderboards. As a player, you gain XP, level up, unlock boosters, and improve your team.

It’s more about long-term planning and progression than active clicking.

A big piece of early feedback was that requiring registration before trying the game was too much friction, so I’ve just added an instant demo:

No account needed — just pick a runner and try the core loop right away.

Players from 38 countries have already registered and the game is still in beta for about one more month. I’m actively balancing progression, boosters, and leaderboards, so I’d really appreciate feedback from people who enjoy incremental/idle games.

I’m especially curious:

• Does the first run/demo make sense?
• Is it clear what you’re supposed to do after creating your first runner?
• Is the progression loop interesting enough?
• What would make you want to come back the next day?

Thanks!
