I’ve been dealing with very reactive, irritated and red skin for 3 years now. I’ve been to a couple different dermatologists who diagnosed me with type 2 rosacea and prescribed the following treatments: rhofade, azaleic acid, metronidazole, triple cream (aa, metro + ivermectin). I’ll try one for 3-5 months, not see a difference in the my skin then go back to the derm and be prescribed the next one. I’m starting to get frustrated and wanted to see if anyone has any advice! I know rosacea isn’t a quick fix but I feel like at this point I should be seeing some slight improvement.

Besides the prescriptions my skin care routine is pretty simple:

AM
Vanicream Cleanser
Barrier Serum (I’ve tried Cocokind and The Ordinary)
Aveeno Face Lotion
Vanicream Sunscreen

PM
Vanicream Cleanser
Prescription
Aveeno Face Lotion
LRP Cicaplast if especially irritated

I’ll also use Avene Thermal Spring Water Mist to calm a flare and Hypochlorous Acid Spray after a workout. I tried Nizoral as a face wash with no results.

First photo is after a workout (always causes a flare, and second two are my everyday skin.

Would appreciate any and all help I’m starting to lose hope. TY!
