I want to map out my future, particularly tungkol sa work and stuff like that.

This coming pasukan, Grade 11 na ako. SHS. Tapos next year, magiging adult na ako JUSKOOO POOOO. So now, gusto ko nang I map-out ang career na tatahakin ko. My parents are old so I want a job na sana high-paying so before I turn 30, ma-pasyal ko naman sila abroad. I'd say na I'm good at communication. My strongest subject talaga ay English. Parte ako ng school publication namin, and I also write articles for a student-led journalism organization sa FB. I have also joined press cons as an opinion writer. I suck at math, but I can improve on that. At first, ang gusto ko talaga kunin sa college ay Development Communications kasi I've heard na it's a flexible degree. Pwede maging journalist, teachers, or whatever. First choice ko talaga mag DevCom. Gusto ko rin mag Accountancy, pero as I've stated earlier, I suck at math. Last resort ko na talaga ang mag work sa medical field, maybe medtech or nurse. I also live in Mindanao, if that is integral to my situation. (Davao del Sur, specifically. Di ako DDS ah. I hate those mothereffers).

So can anyone give me advice on what I should do? Are there high-paying jobs na pwede work-from-home or hybrid? What decently-paying jobs can i get with DevCom? (Passion ko talaga kasi DevCom eh)

Thank you for the help guys

Every time I open street view and go to the cities settled / colonized by the British Empire, there seems to be a lot of Gothic Revival architecture. Why is that? Did the British impose it to project power?

For me, My Immortal (band version). That part when the band comes in right before the final chorus is just so heavenly. Until now, I've never gotten sick of this song. It's just too good.

Just watched Rent (the 2008 proshot) and I like it. Ang ganda ng songs (Out Tonight is my fav). Although, I think there are some glaring downsides sa show. I didn't like the ending na hindi namatay si Mimi. It may sound weird, pero parang nawala yung gravity ng sitwasyon sa ending eh. Anyways, what are your thoughts sa Rent?

So I finally decided to watch Rent (2008 proshot) and I like it. That being said, like all forms of media, there are somethings I like and didn't like about the show

WHAT I LIKE:

• Music—I'm a sucker for rock music and hearing the songs for the first time was heavenly. Out Tonight gave me an eargasm. It's also my favorite song in the show. I'm kinda sad though that there's no recording available on Spotify with Renee as Mimi. I think she was amazing in that role.

• Cast—Holy hell, the cast was INCREDIBLE. I feel like they played the characters so well. If only there was a proshot for the original 1996 cast.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:

(Probably a lot of unpopular opinions below)

• Ending — This may sound weird but why didn't they just let Mimi die in the end? When I watched it, I was just bewildered and confused. It felt like the gravity and heaviness of the finale was just taken away. It kinda felt like being blue-balled.

• Benny's sudden change of character in Act 2 — It was never explained why he suddenly changed? Benny padlocked them out of the building then suddenly offering a truce.

Also, are there any other plot holes I missed? I've read some threads saying Rent has a lot of plot holes. Care to share some?

(My God, can you imagine?)

Just asking lang. What if we suddenly overtook the US as the richest nation on earth within the span of only 24 hours? Ano kaya mangyayari? My first thought was that knowing how many corrupt politicians plague our country, sure ko na this money will be mismanaged and corrupted. Another is that, if ever this money is properly utilized, mas magiging powerful ang Philippines and possibly magkakaroon ng soft power over the other Asian countries.

Aside from the obvious ones (Blue to You're Welcome, Yo Girl dialogue changes, etc...), what are the other revisions done to the show? As I was watching a bootleg of the Off-broadway 2014 run, I noticed that the dialogue between Kurt and Ram was different after Fight for Me and that they kept the moments where JD and his dad impersonate each other from the movie. Other than that, what else?
