So what's the point of majoring in Spanish as an spanish speaking person?

I've noticed this pattern of spanish speaking people double majoring and always having spanish as their second major, like, what's the point? Is it just an easy degree to make your resume look nicer? I'm an spanish speaker and always wondered this.

Are the FCE results recommendations for restrictions, or restrictions the doctor has to follow regardless if they think they're wrong?

I'm getting my permanent restrictions in a couple weeks, my doctor said he'll give them to me and doesn't want an FCE since the tests can be too hard on my back and make things worst. Not sure what to do.

As of now, I'm heading straight towards homeless in my late 20s. Injured spine, will be getting some restrictions soon, and not sure how it will affect me when I go looking for jobs. I can't do much nowadays, I can walk and stuff, but I'm in pain all day. My only chance now is to go back to college and get a good degree, but at this point it doesn't seem worth it since no matter how easy of a job I get, it just feels like I'm just surviving nowadays, the pain has taken all enjoyment from life.
