I'm exploring an idea and want honest feedback before I build more.

The premise: a marketplace where people who are interviewing at or just got an offer from a specific company can book paid 30-minute calls with verified current and former employees of that company. The employee is verified through corporate email, government ID, and LinkedIn cross-check. Payment is held in escrow and released after the call.

Three things I want to know:

If you were interviewing at [Stripe / Google / wherever you're actually interviewing], would you pay $50-100 for this? Why or why not?

What would make you trust that the person you're talking to is real and actually works there?

If you were a senior employee at one of these companies, would you ever sign up to take these calls? At what price?

Specifically interested in pushback. Tell me why this doesn't work or why it already exists in a form I'm missing.

I'm the founder of SOXAgent, a financial governance platform for AI agents.

What we do: Before any AI agent executes a financial action (payment, invoice approval, expense), it calls SOXAgent to get a policy-evaluated decision — approve, deny, or escalate. Every decision generates a cryptographically signed audit pack. Think of it as the compliance layer that sits above Brex, Ramp, and Stripe for AI-driven finance workflows.

Why now:

- EU AI Act high-risk AI requirements hit August 2026 (fines up to €35M or 7% of global turnover)

- Mastercard completed Europe's first AI-agent-initiated payment in March 2026

Who I am:

- Licensed CPA, Big Four Audit Background

- Corporate Senior Accounting Experience

- Self-taught full-stack developer who built the entire platform solo

- Based in the US

Who I'm looking for:

- Senior backend or infrastructure engineer with enterprise experience

- Bonus if you've worked in fintech, security, compliance, GRC platforms (AuditBoard, Vanta, Drata, Zenity), or DevSecOps

- Someone who can own scaling, SOC 2, security hardening, and the technical side of enterprise sales conversations

- Builder-shaped — wants ownership, not a job

- Currently living in the US
