Here is my thoughts - A remaster should be made when the game graphically isn't holding up really well. However, the mechanics are still really good and are meeting the expectations of the current time. That could mean a game from 2013, or a game from 2019, or even a game from 2006. If the game's mechanics is holding up but not the graphics, then you can do a remaster. A remake should be done when the game's mechanics are feeling to be outdated or are completely outdated. For example, the old 90's Tomb Raider games. When a game's mechanics start to feel outdated, I think that is the best time to remake it for the modern audiences. If a game's mechanics are still holding up, then it's the best time to make a remaster for the game.

I bought the Punisher thinking that I will get a really powerful handgun. It is the same handgun, just now that I don't even have the money to upgrade it, and I am not even using it that often. And in the water hall level, once I wanted to save Ashley, I used the Punisher gun and it ended up killing Ashley too. So, I don't know if I made a mistake. I know it's a single-player game, and I don't need to ask this on Reddit, but just as a question.

Now I’ll be honest with you. I had pretty good internet, 5 GHz Wi-Fi with around 100 to 200 Mbps average speed. So yeah, my internet was solid, not gonna lie.

I tested it with two games: Watch Dogs 2 and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, mainly because those are the games I own on Ubisoft Connect, and that’s the only account I connected for now.

I was really disappointed when Epic couldn’t sync with the game library, because I had tons of free games I claimed there that I could’ve played, also Hogwarts Legacy, which I recently claimed for free. But maybe they did it for a reason. I’ll connect Steam later, but for now I just connected my Ubisoft Connect library.

I played using my old laptop from five years ago, which was considered mid-range at the time and has an i3, definitely not for gaming.

I played on the free tier, and I’ll be honest here, during peak hours, the player wait count is around 500 to 600. That’s almost an hour of waiting. And if you’re trying to play a popular game, it can be even more. So I recommend playing early in the morning or very late at night when the queue is almost zero and you can get into a game pretty fast.

There is a one-hour session limit when you’re playing on GeForce Now. But that’s fine since it’s the free tier.

When I checked the Watch Dogs 2 settings and switched to ultra graphics, I saw that the GPU being used was an RTX 3050. So I think they might be using that GPU for the free tier, but I’m not 100% sure, that’s just my guess. It was the same in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

However, I couldn’t set Assassin’s Creed Syndicate to ultra because it required a restart, and once it restarted, it logged me out of the session. When I came back, the graphics settings had reset. But in Watch Dogs 2, I was able to play on ultra, and the game ran smoothly at around 30 to 60 FPS with no issues.

Latency was my biggest fear going in, but honestly, I didn’t experience any noticeable latency at all. The only time I felt a bit of delay was when my internet slowed down or was about to disconnect.

Isn’t that a really, really good experience?

I definitely recommend GeForce Now for people with a weak laptop but a solid game library. Just keep in mind that my internet speed was quite fast, while many people in India usually have around 30 to 40 Mbps. So your experience might vary, but this was mine.

Hi, I’m looking to buy a genuine, pre-owned Nintendo DS in India. My goal is to modify (jailbreak) it and use it as an affordable, portable gaming console.

I would prefer the device to include a stylus, but it’s not mandatory as I can manage without one. I’m open to any model—Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DSi XL, or even the original DS—whichever is most suitable and easiest to jailbreak.

Ideally, the seller should offer Cash on Delivery (COD). If not, the platform or seller must be trustworthy and well-reviewed (for example, positively rated on Trustpilot).

I’m specifically looking for a reliable source in India that sells authentic, functional units suitable for modification.

For the first time, I decided to use the photo mode in Arkham Knight. I discovered that you can't actually click pictures properly, so I used a different third-party app to take the images. If I missed something, then I might be wrong. So, I'm not a professional photo mode user—I just do it for fun, and these are some of the pictures I made. Can you review them?

This is the start to my Mafia Novel and this is a attempt to add a background and deepen the protagonist.

Here it is -

My name’s Roman Khetrik. Born into a poor family in 1983. I was, as you can see, pretty dumb.

Around the early 90s, our country, SLIM, dropped into war. I was 14.

There were days, sometimes weeks, when electricity was a luxury in my house. We had no food for weeks on end.

I was drafted into a war I had no connections with. I went happily. I was dumb, stupid. I didn’t understand what was going on.

At the age of 18, a group from the opposing military caught us. They kept us in a room, locked up, starving.

You might think, what kind of monster keeps just grown adults starving?

They were.

We were not less too.

I remember killing dozens of soldiers, begging for mercy, begging for life, begging for their family.

I am no good person. Neither were they.

War is where I was turned from an innocent child into a killing machine.

I was too dumb to understand then. And maybe I’m still now.

I was no patriot to a country fighting over stolen land.

That’s when I decided enough was enough.

By the time I decided to leave the army, I was 0% of the young, angry man I came when I was 14.

I decided to take a ship to San Francisco, living the American dream.

Let’s see what the American dream actually is.

I recently wanted to buy a DS to jailbreak and have an affordable portable console. I found this listing on OLX from a city I don’t live in, so my best option would be courier. I can also negotiate the price a little. Could you let me know if this is a scam or if it’s safe?

Here are my thoughts. When I first got to know about the Black Flag remake, when early leaks came around, I didn’t really get too excited, as I thought that this game did not need a remake. Around that time, the game wasn’t really that old, and in my memories, the game looked exactly how it does in the recent trailer. I thought to myself that maybe this game is too early to remake, so I was not really that excited. But once the reveal trailer came out, showcasing the graphics side-by-side, I completely changed my thoughts, and I am really excited for this remake. They also overhauled the sword combat, added new mechanics and new storyline missions, and I’m just excited to replay my favorite Assassin’s Creed game with a new gamer’s eyes.
