Not even a week and they’re removing my late!!!! So thankful I’ll have a cleaner record! I have one other late from the same month (had mold in my house and dealing with insurance and remediation and everything I let it slip my mind) so hopefully they’ll do it as well! Concora is notorious for being less cooperative with these though so we’ll see!

Paying off my last $1500 in debt tomorrow (was on two cards 1k on one and $500 on the other)! I got married at 18, had a kid shortly after and we ended up financing two cars cause we were on our own with no help and brand new to adulting. Ended up in over our heads and had both cars repo’d… at one point I had a 345 score 😬

I had to work to get those repo’ sorted out, did the whole claim as additional income on taxes and payment plans for the other things. I got an indigo card and credit one (I know they’re predatory but it’s all I could get). My wife and I have been married for 12 yrs this August and about to have our fifth child in June! We own a home together and after I pay off this last $1500 I’m hoping my score goes back into the 600’s! I’ve been learning so much on this subreddit and has helped me so much and I’m now checking all three reports regularly and making muchhhh smarter life choices than I used to! Thank you all for the knowledge that I can now pass onto my kids so they never have to come back from something like we did!
