Can't boot windows from bootable usb

Hi !

I created a bootable usb to install windows 11 on my pc ( windows 10 but need clean install ).

I always end up with a black screen. I created the key with windows creation tool.

Ive tried : install bootable on various usb sticks in case one was defective, used various usb ports on my pc, restarted selecting external peripheral and picked the usb key, no matter what it just leads me to a black screen with nothing happening.

What can I do ? Thank you !

Deadly by nature set - Full swatches + comparisons !

I thought that may be useful !

Swatched black widow, deadly nightshade, werewolf's bane, death's trumpet, manchineel tree and taipan venom. Compared with Mercury's tears and midsummers dream :)

Deadly nightshade is SO hard to capture, it looks different under every single angle !

Laptop recs for Parsec use only ?

  • Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: 300-400cad
  • Are you open to refurbs/used? yes
  • How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? form factor, then the rest don't really matter as long as it works with parsec
  • How important is weight and thinness to you? very important
  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. N/A
  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Yes, but through Parsec only
  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? No
  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Nope
  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Hii ! I do have a pretty powerful laptop that I litteraly never use (absolutely not once in 3 years beside few travels) because I have a great PC tower. My laptop is heavy and thick and I only need it when I travel, at this point I think it would make more sense to sell it and buy something cheap and lightweight to use parsec.

Do you have any recs of something lightweight and decent for parsec ? I likely won't use it for anything else beside parsec or web browsing in travel 3weeeks/year lol. I would say my priorities are it being easy to travel with, and good enough to use parsec in a comfortable way (so good wifi chip?) I dont care about the rest, I really don't want to pay too much for it considering the use. No apple product tho, I don't like the OS.

Thanks a lot !

HDD usb 3.0 extremely slow and crashes my pc (500Ko/s at best)

Hi !
I just purchased a (brand new) Seagate HDD 2To 3.0, I already own 3 of this exact disks and they are fast and perfect but this one seems to have issues ?

It worked perfectly yesterday in terms of speed, but when I tried to turn off my pc with it plugged in it made my pc freeze. My pc also crashes if I try to open the disk or to eject it, and today the speed to transfer data is insanely slow (currently saying more than a DAY for 48go, always less than 500Ko/s). Doesnt even display speed anymore ... Is that a faulty disk ? In task manager performances it says this disk is currently at 100% lol.

Thank you !
