Viewfinder, brighter lens with aperture controls, bigger sensor
I know we already have a lot of lenses but those two lenses with G100 or OM5 are literally all I need for 90% of my work.
I am a street photographer and I always love to use wide focal length because sometimes putting the subject with architecture as a background gives better context. For those who are in the same shoes as me, please get 7-14 2.8 as an EDC and you will love it.
I've been using a Canon R50 with a kit and now found a 5D Mark ii for 150 USD and I can grab 50mm 1.8 STM for 100 USD or 50mm 1.4 for 150 USD.
I am thinking I will be able to use a full frame for very cheap it will be a great portrait and street machine, what do you think?
Folks who have experience with low light portrait sessions, could you please share what lenses you are using and do you use any denoisint software? I brought G95 with Oly 12-40 2.8 and found that photos are either blurry or grainy.
I have been reading articles about this change and still can't understand the reasoning behind it. The only thing I found is the Canon Marketing department said the wording M is not attractive enough to the consumer base so they have to invent a new word for their mirrorless lineup. Another reason is M mount is not wide enough for their technical advancements in the lens.
I still believe the Canon M lineup has a lot of great cameras and are you guys still using them?
I know 95% of shooters are happy with Leica here but I want to listen from that 5%. What remorse and why?
I have been eyeing this system for some weeks and watching YouTube reviews on it. Also, read a couple of posts on Reddit but this drive me crazy. 70% or people said m43 is a dead system and people are coping but the remaining 30% are giving articulated answers on why sensor size is enough. But the thing that makes more nervous is the email from GoPro that mission 1 is coming soon and it uses m43 mount. As a GoPro lover, m43 lenses became a priority for me now. So is it the right time and which lenses should I grab. I have £4,800 budget for m43. I am interested in street photography and architecture.
I have a Canon R100 and my gas for Canon grows e everyday to the extend that I want another camera as a backup. I found a Canon m10 with kit lens for £100 and I found that with another lens like ef-m 22 f2. It will be ultimate EDC. Should I grab it or not? Because I also see so many reddit post saying m10 is pure garbage but this price point needs to be considered so I want your honest opinions.
Peter Michal shared the insight that we need to blend with the crowd as much as possible to get the most natural shit which is the essense of street photography. So let's say you're going into west coast, do you apply rapper fashion to yourself? Please share your personal stories with us.
I wrote this post for all of us.
Hey folks, let's abandon our loser mindset and quit saying you can't get rich from street photography.
Look at Henri Cartier-Bresson who turned the street into a goldmine. While everyone else was complaining that no one buy your street photo his shots ended up in the world's biggest magazines and high-end galleries.
He co-founded Magnum Photos and basically proved that if you're the best at capturing the "Decisive Moment," the money actually follows. He traveled the globe, lived a legendary life, and his prints now sell for thousands of dollars at auction.
Stop making excuses about the "market" and start looking at how the GOAT actually did it. If HCB could build an empire off candid shots, what's stopping you?
Believe in yourself and your family, God will protect and bless you.

I just post on this subreddit how I want to make money with my passion for street photography. Almost 90% the comments are saying there is no money to make here and so much discouragement. I want real fighters only to put your way to success here. Let you be the light for beginners like us.
The good thing with m43 is you can have a full setup for all the budget.
I am a Thai student and writing a thesis of foreigner behavior with happy endings. How much do you spend per session and how often do you go per month? What are your criteria for choosing partners?
