No victory since he returned to the starting lineup. 22 huge chances missed. 1 goal. No assists. 150M€ per season. Enjoy the Golden Boot again.
Real Madrid went from having 4 points less, to 1 point above and now potentially 9 points difference in 1.5 months
Mbappe could have scored here but decided to do a backheel...
Hot take: If gonzalo garcia was playing for a mid table la liga team ,let alone another league's team. He would be strongly considered to play for Spain as a no9 ,but unfortunately he plays for real madrid and backup to some so called untouchables
Vitor Reis elbow to Mbappe's face - No Penalty
Since we are at "it's so over", we're gonna beat Bayern right?
The board/Flo should have backed Xabi and he was right about Vini
It is obvious that both Mbappe and Vini can't play together. They both equally have poor work rates (you can see the kilometers ran by both of them Vs. Bayern).
Vini's constant antics on the pitch and his inconsistent form should have been enough for any board to let this player go but instead of supporting the manager, they sacked him...
The club should have allowed Xabi to sideline Vini and play with Mbappe as our winger.
On my mother's life, he is playing against us
On my mother's life, he is playing against us.
These are the words that need to be written at the entrance of Bernabeu.
I have never seen a more selfish player, huge ego, constantly crying and complaining , not passing, trying the same tactics that result in losing the ball every time.
Great quote, Big Benz.
Florentino Pérez and the club board are the biggest perpetrators behind our failure since 2023/24. (Opinion Piece)
Toni Kroos
a veteran, arguably the greatest passer of the ball in the 21st century, serial winner, someone who stands on a higher platform than Xavi and Pirlo for some people, retires at the peak of his powers. There was not even an attempt at bringing a midfielder with high level passing ability and experience.
Nacho Fernández
a veteran, an academy graduate, a serial winner, a great captain, bleeds Madrid, leaves the club. There was no attempt at bringing in a high profile center back with enough experience to lead the defense in the absence of Rüdiger or Militao, who already had suffered 1 ACL at that point.
Luka Modrić
a veteran, one of the greatest midfielders ever, serial winner, great captain, a colossus at even 38,39,40 years old leaves the club even though he wanted to stay here and retire, and there was not even an attempt at bringing a high profile midfielder with leadership and experience.
Carlo Ancelotti
a veteran, one of the greatest managers ever, a true professional, a father figure for the players, a legend who won us 3 Champions Leagues has to go through a season with insane injury problems, and he doesn't get any help from the board. No winter transfers, no nothing. Was he perfect? Of course not, but with the limited squad he had, he still got 84 points in the league. Will we get there after buying 4 new players and hiring 2 coaches this season? Let's see, we need 14 points in the 7 remaining games to even match that "horrible" season.
So, 4 veterans who are legends of this club leave and you don't feel the urgency to replace them, for what, maybe for a rebuild? Oh, I know about that rebuild attempt.
Xabi Alonso
a veteran player, an arguably new young coach who went unbeaten and won the Bundesliga, did something that could never be done before, and probably won't be done in a long while. You bring him with high aspirations and big dreams for the future. "Yes, he's a system coach, we will play organized football". "This is a long-term project". We do in fact play a lot more organized in the early season, but not all of Xabi's requests are fulfilled. We still did not bring any midfielders, we did not fill the gaping holes in our squad, we spent most of our money on rising talents from different leagues and took a gamble, we still did not find a way to not make our superstar divas upset etc.
Was Xabi tactically outclassed from time to time? Yes, obviously. Was sacking him going to change anything if you don't fix the internal issues in the squad? Definitely not. Xabi could not command enough respect in the dressing room, and was overpowered by Pérez' superstar team.
Finally, what I'm trying to say is that most of our issues, let it be the players having performance dips, let it be the players not acting as a team on the pitch in 90% of our games, or any other problem you can think of, all of them are caused by the chain reaction of Pérez' and the board's actions. Pérez won the ego battle by brining the best player in the world to his club, but he did not think this thoroughly. Our squad planning did NOT account for injuries, did NOT account for some of the best players to ever walk the earth leaving the team, did NOT account for huge egos clashing with the coaches' decisions. You can love or hate any player as much as you like, but you should not fail to see the main reason behind our failure.
Went from a winstreak, family FC and vibes to losing two games in a row and a draw in the span of a week.
Real Madrid's defeats this season: -With Álvaro Arbeloa: 7 in 20 matches. -With Xabi Alonso: 5 in 28 matches.
Well. At least the team has great spirit and friendship now with Arbeloa. No need to work hard anymore. Why doesn’t Arbeloa resign he keeps blaming himself for every loss, and if he himself is admitting that he is the reason for every defeat then it is time for him to consider resigning.
Real Madrid needs a coach like Mourinho for a few months, a coach that can disciplin this squad. No, I don’t believe Mourinho is the long term solution.
Where you expect to see our players
this is in my opinion where most players in the team are present on the pitch……
attack is underlined with a red colour , midfield is underlined with a blue colour , defence is underlined with an orange colour..
btw , mins the handwriting please…………………………………..
pleeeeeaaaaaasseeeeee , don’t judge THE HANDWRITING

I know we've all said this about a million times but these past 3 games have provided undeniable proof that Vini and Mbappe will NEVER work together
As soon as mbappe returned to the starting lineup we haven't won a single game. Ofc correlation doesn't = causation, but there's enough evidence of this duo not working for the past season. Both of them are extremely lazy, vini's decision making has gone down the drain, and mbappe's positioning is complete garbage most of the time which leads to our midfielders being obstructed. If vini was still in his 2024 form then I would want mbappe sold, but that vini's never coming back so I guess maybe he should be sold. Honestly idk what the solution is at this point because replacing vini is almost impossible as wellso who knows what the board will do. Either way we're most likely never winning anything with these 2 as our main attackers
A stat for the mods to delete because they're in fond with Perez and won't allow anyone to expose his non sense signing. Mbappé disappear when most needed.

Can we acknowledge the problem with Mbappé or we need another two trophyless seasons?
I am not gonna ask others to perform a tactical analysis of Mbappé's effect on the team. I believe if someone has not been able to see it by now... well, it's hardly gonna change.
But please, just try to search for the pattern. Do you not find it a bit weird how Mbappé leaves PSG, after years where the team seems dysfunctional, good for sure, but lacking the consistency, the final click for them to win the UCL... and they mmediately win it? And, at the same time, Mbappé joins a young Real Madrid that has just won a league + Champions League double, with only TWO defeats in the whole season despite the many injuries, with a Barça that is broke... and the team losses all important trophies next season? Getting manhandled in every Clásico? Humiliated by an Arsenal team with Merino upfront?
Now, of course, this is something that can happen: after all, PSG were close to reaching the UCL final with Mbappé on his last year, and went out after missing chance after chance against BVB; at the same time, it iisnt unheard of that a team wins the Champions League and then dips the season after; it has happened to Madrid before.
But fast forward to the next season... and it's still the same. PSG are looking like the current favourites to win the UCL again and Madrid are more than likely losing the last chance of silverware on Wednesday. This despite spending quite a lot in the Summer to adress some of the team's problems and the fact that the supposedly best player in the world is on his second season in Spain, already acclimatized to the country and the team.
And the best thing is that this pattern repeats inside the season itself. The team was playing some of its best football in the whole year, it had deservedly knocked out City despite the many injuries and convincingly won the derby against Atlético. But the turtle is back and all of a sudden... horrible game against Mallorca, very shaky game against Bayern and again a bad performance against Girona.
The best way to judge his negative impact is watching the games. But just a quick look at the results allows us to establish a very clear ccause effect relationship. How many more seasons like this are needed to see it?
Goodbye to the league title!
Another weak game from the boys. Yes, the ref didn't give a clear penalty, but a team of our caliber shouldn't depend on it. We should have played much better, in this game and throughout the league, and won the title once more. Barça is not gonna be crowned champions because they are a better team than us, but because we served the title to them on a silver platter.
