Something Completely Different

Over a year ago, I posted on here about having some very good results using Castor Oil to treat my Rosacea. It was quite helpful and I was encouraged. But over the long term, I was still having more breakouts. (Type 2).

About 5 months ago, I was wondering about the demodex mite side of things and started looking up products. I ran across this one:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CP47PYLW?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder_k3_1_6&amp=&crid=2CLA1FC0FRFVE&sprefix=noveha&th=1

It is for treating people who suffer from dry eye due to demodex mites. I thought.... well, why not try it on my face? So I ordered some.

I did exactly what it said on the package, which is to apply it to your eyelids. Except I applied it to my eyebrows and my whole face. You are supposed to leave it on for 30 to 60 seconds. I leave it on for 60 seconds. (It doesn't hurt me at all)

I don't wash my face with soap, I only use this and after rinsing thoroughly, apply CeraVe cream. That's ALL I do. Twice daily.

Now please.... listen to this part carefully!!! I didn't see all that much improvement for two months. But I kept with it. It was easy to do and I figured if I was very diligent, eventually the mite population would have to succumb. (If that was what my issue was). But at about the two month mark, things really did improve. The really severe pustules no longer happened. The ones that I get now are smaller and shallower and WAY less painful. I have less redness overall and even when I am having pustules there is less redness and swelling.

This is not a cure. But of all the things I have tried, it is the most effective. AND this stuff is inexpensive. The container lasts me about a month to six weeks.

But I will stress that I think the key is to be religious about using it twice a day so the mites don't have a chance to recover from being 'beaten back' so to speak.

Anyway, I wanted to pass this along in case it may be helpful to someone.

My heart is always with this community. I know how we suffer.
