I've been running Apple Search Ads for a while now and just hit one of the most frustrating UX/policy issues I've encountered.

Here's what happened:

* I set an end date for my campaign

* The campaign ran, hit the end date, and stopped

* I went back to extend the end date — **the field is completely greyed out and uneditable**

* My only option is to duplicate the entire campaign and start over, losing all the learning data

The worst part?

**My ads were just hitting their stride.

* Everyone knows Search Ads need around 30 days to properly learn and optimize.

My campaign finally started performing well right around that window — and then it just... died. No way to extend it. No warning email. No notification that the end date was approaching. Nothing.

Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters 🌿

We're a small software development team. For most of our careers, we've sat in front of screens 6–9 hours a day without thinking twice about our eyes.

Then the signs started:

— Dry, tired eyes by afternoon

— Losing focus earlier than before

— And honestly? Whole work days passing where we barely remembered Allah at all

It bothered us. Not just the eye strain, but the spiritual disconnect. Hours of this blessing of sight used, and no dhikr, no pause, no connection.

So our team built something simple for ourselves — and we want to share it with this community.

**Eye Rest & Zikr Reminder** is a free Chrome extension that:

- Reminds you to take a screen break every 20–30 minutes (customizable)

- Prompts you with a short zikr — Astaghfirullah, SubhanAllah, Allahu Akbar

- Shows a countdown so you always know when the next break is

- Has zero ads, zero data collection, free forever

After using it ourselves for months, our eyes feel more rested during long sessions and — more importantly — we feel more connected throughout the work day. Those small pauses became our daily reset.

If you spend long hours on screens (developers, designers, students, remote workers), we think you'll find value in it.

You can share your experience from Eye Rest & Zikr Reminder
