Hi everyone. I’m an Indian student considering MBBS at Community Based Medical College (CBMCB), Dhaka as an international student.

I’ve already heard both positive and negative things about studying medicine in Bangladesh, so I wanted honest opinions specifically from current students, interns, or recent graduates of CBMCB or other Bangladeshi medical colleges.

I would really appreciate realistic answers about:

• Teaching quality — are concepts actually taught well or is it mostly guidebook memorization?

• How stressful are item exams and attendance requirements?

• Is there enough time for self-study and textbooks?

• Hostel and food conditions for foreign students?

• Ragging / toxic environment / political influence?

• Clinical exposure — do students actually get hands-on learning?

• How helpful are professors during ward classes?

• Is the medium genuinely English in classes/exams?

• Are foreign students treated fairly?

• Hidden fees or unexpected expenses?

• How difficult is university life mentally?

• Would you personally choose Bangladesh again for MBBS if given another option?

• How are graduates doing later in FMGE/NExT/PLAB/USMLE etc?

I’m asking because this is a huge decision for me and I want genuine ground reality, not consultant marketing.

Thank you.
