I got it through a trade at a card show. It’s one of the most iconic Pikachu cards I’ve ever seen, with one of the best card backs I’ve ever seen too.

I first saw these cards at a card show, and the holo on them absolutely blew me away. After doing some research, I found out they came from the Japanese “The Best of XY” box. I also checked the PSA 10 population for these cards, and the numbers are insanely low. No wonder they’re so expensive.

I can only choose one of these two cards, (psa10) and I really like both.

The first one is a limited Chinese language featuring iconic characters like Pikachu, Charizard, and Mew.
The other one is in Japanese, which I prefer over English because I like the Japanese holo more.

Which one do you think is a better long term collectible?

I just got back from a trip to Japan. The card market there is incredibly active right now. But this card really caught my eye ,I’ve never seen it before. The holo on it is amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up buying it. Do you guys think this card is worth the risk as a long-term hold?
