I've seen other similar collections on here and wanted to share mine, which I started about six months ago. They are not in a special order, except that I have my favorites in the first few pages.
I'm still on the hunt for more that I know exist. 🌈
After months of chasing down auctions, trading in parts of my collection, and researching different sets and niches, I'm super happy to finally complete my personal collection display (in the closet shelves lol), could just stand here and stare at it all day
Hi - I have zero knowledge of cards and this has been sitting in my home for a while. It’s a collection of mid-2000s US and Japanese cards… is there anyone who can share more details on these? Thank you!

Happened to find more in a different binder, along with some booster packs
Thanks for all the kind words and advice on my last post! I’ve decided to grade some as well as and do my research!
Sorry for the long post but with how high Pokémon prices have gotten, i wanted to share this Neo Genesis Feraligatr evolution line I was able to put together over the last year. I think first edition cards are awesome, but once I realized how rare Neo Genesis unlimited cards really are, I got hooked on the idea of having a one of a kind collection of my favorite Pokémon with the cards I actually played with as a kid.
Feraligatr has always been my favorite Pokémon because Totodile was my first starter in Pokémon Silver. I still remember Christmas morning opening gifts with my brother and him getting Pokémon Gold and me getting Silver. My first ever Pokémon game.
We are now much older and between yard sales, moving houses after our parents split, we lost our entire collection. For a long time I felt like the cards I owned were gone forever and that if I ever wanted them again, they would eventually be too expensive to justify buying. I wish I had looked earlier but I’m just happy I have them now.
I purchased the Feraligatr 4/111 for $150. I know to a lot of people the Spanish edition lowers the value, but to me that hardly matters because it is a pop 1 and the only one at that grade, with no PSA 10s, which was exactly the type of card I wanted. Owning a one of one card of my favorite Pokémon from a set that takes me right back to being a kid honestly feels priceless.
What I also think is really cool is that when you put that together with the 5/111 (pop 17) and the rest of the line, all with very low populations, it is probably a collection almost nobody else has exactly like this. I know that will come off as bragging, but I just think it is awesome that something this unique was still possible to build without spending an insane amount of money. I spent well under $1000 for all the cards. Which to some may be a lot and I understand that I am lucky to afford a collection at all.
I know all of these sold for less as some point before I bought them, but even with that, I still feel like there is real value out there if you look hard enough. More than anything, it just feels good to be part of collecting again and to have cards that actually mean something to me.

I'm not to crazy about the modern era holo cards but this damn cards price kept rising so I had to snatched one before it got out of hand
my little brother just started collecting. How is he doing?
Picked up my top chase cards a while back, best decision I have ever made in collecting lol, crazy to see what prices have become.
Leaning towards Dragonite being my favorite, witch would you pick
Not the biggest and flashiest collection but I think they’re cool.
