Hello good people. I am going out by myself tomorrow to a local creek which is known to be a good spot for trout fishing. Specially with the Spring trout run. I've never fished for trout before. I went there couple of times just to see the area and I saw people catching left and right. Here are some questions.

I've got a steelhead spinning rod, Spinning reel, 8lb flurocarbon line and 6lb leader. I've got 6.2g float and 4 splitshots, size 8 hook, a peach/orange bead 2 inch above the hook and sack of roe on the hook.

Again I've never fished trout before, I am ready to fish respectfully. Any recommendation or advice will be appreciated.

As the title suggested, this is our first time travelling with our new born. Tronto to BC. I read somewhere the airlines let you check in the stroller for free. What about the car seat? Our car seat sits on the stroller. Can we check them both? or there is a separate fee for that?
