About 1 year ago i developed some kind of daily dizziness/lightheadedness with brain fog and light sensivity. Did numerous blood tests, MRI’s, eyes tests. Nothing out of ordinary, except some neck misalignment at C2-C3. Also i found out i have sleep disorder UARS, which now im being treated with BiPAP for several months now. However, i’m still dizzy.

I would say this is daily thing and episodic throughout the day. Sometimes its better and sometimes its worse.

I noticed, that the moment i wake up is best. And episodes appear in the middle of the day. Usually in the late evening i also feel good/better.

If i’m in that episode i can’t focus on anything, feels like eyes dont work together with brain. All i want to do is to lay down in the dark (it feels calming). Or i want to close my eyes. After resting for couple hours i feel better.

Cardio exercises like walking or busy environments is a trigger.

Anxiety is also a big trigger.

Symptoms:

* Dizziness/lightheadedness (not spinning)
* Brain fog
* Visual snow
* Photophobia
* Overwhelm
* High contrast environments feel overwhelming (dark room with moderate amount daylight from the window)
* Tunnel-like vision
* Eye fatigue or worsened vision later in the day
* Anxiety (used to get DPDR when this all started)

What helps:

* I wear fl-41 glasses for light sensitivity and i think it makes it better, but doesnt solve the problem.
* Sunglasses also help being outside
* Benzodiazepines
* Alcohol
* Just laying down in silent dark room

Before anyone says “BVD”, i got tested for that.
Something is wrong and its not in my head.

Could it be vestibular migraine?
