Bit of Sunday listening

I know this is another GY!BE post from me, but…what an album. Musically, packaging wise, and live…just next level.

The first album I can remember owning, and falling in love with. Originally got it on cassette for Christmas from my folks. We’d moved out of London to the sticks. But this psychogeographic, concept masterpiece, along with tales of that London from my family kept the connection.
A really special record.

The rebuild continues…

Slowly rebuilding my collection- starting with the important stuff first. What a beautiful album this is.

Got this when they were touring the album over here in the UK. Which I guess makes me old…even though it still feels like only yesterday.

Love this album - such attention to detail, right down to the train flattened penny.
When this came out, it was quite revolutionary.

Bit of a palette cleanser after a day of reviewing.
Can’t beat a bit of drone now and again.

Wise words. Giving GNOD a spin. Turned down a job this week from someone claiming to be a “conservative anarchist”. He’s also running for Reform. Can’t work for someone like that - and this album seems in keeping with this week’s personal themes.
So…anyone got any jobs going
