Im going to skip a lot of this story since it’s quite long 😭 But to make the story short, went to this hair stylist for the first time, got a consultation (my hair is naturally dark brown with some lighter brown highlights) i showed a picture of a pink beige color and asked if they could do it, mentioned i didnt mind multiple sessions, got test stranded and got told one session would be fine (i was pretty skeptical).
Came the day of the appointment, took 5 hours and they made my hair bright red, nothing close to the pink color I wanted. (I asked if it would get to my desired colored if I washed, got told no). Is there any way for me to get this red hair back to a dark brown? I would prefer to avoid salons. I’d like to go to color 6 or 4/27 my natural was a mix of 4/27 and 12, but I doubt I can go back to that. I know red hair fades quickly but I really want to go back to my brown hair color as soon as I can, the result just genuinely made me cry 😭 and im still crying from this. </3

I have naturally dark brown hair, I’ve gotten it lightened so it’s a mix of dark and light brown. Ive book an appointment for a pink beige hair color and stated i was fine with multiple appointments, had strand tests, and got told they can do this color for them. I was skeptical due to the insane color difference, today was the day to get my hair color changed. It took roughly 5 hours and they ended up making my hair a bright red and nothing close to a beige pink, I asked if this would wash out to the color and got told it wouldn’t. I genuinely dislike this red hair and I don’t really feel like going back to that salon, and wanted to know if it would be possible to dye my hair back to a dark brown shade? First picture is the hair color and second picture are shades of brown id like to go for color 6 or color 4/27. Would it be possible to do it myself at home? Or would I have to go back to the salon? Not really important but the 3rd picture was the picture I showed my stylist. 😭 I honestly dislike this color so much, ik red fades fast but im just worried I might have weird undertones and I kinda want to get rid of this red hair color asap. 🙏 Genuinely cried so hard
