Hey everyone,
My wife has been deep in the trenches studying for the NCLEX, and I saw firsthand how incredibly stressful it is. What made it worse was seeing how insanely expensive all the good study tools and QBanks are. It felt like nursing students were getting punished for just trying to get their licenses.
I’m a software developer, so I decided to do something about it. I spent the last few months building her a massive, fully functioning NCLEX QBank from scratch. She used it, it worked, and now I want to open it up to help anyone else who might be struggling with the cost of prep.
I'm not going to link it directly here so this doesn't get flagged as spam, but if you Google Nurse Practice Hub, you'll find it.
Here is what I built into it:
- 10,200+ Questions: Covers both NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN. It's mapped strictly to the 2026 blueprint.
- All the NGN Stuff: I know the Next Gen formats are the scariest part, so I coded all 10 item types (Bow Ties, Matrix, Case Studies, Trend questions, Drag-and-Drop, etc.).
- Detailed Rationales: Every single question explains exactly why the answer is right or wrong.
- Analytics & Streaks: Tracks your weak areas so you know what clinical domains to focus on.
The totally transparent catch: I wanted to make this 100% free forever, but servers and hosting cost money. So, to keep it sustainable and free for everyone, the free plan limits you to 20 questions a day.
Honestly, doing 20 questions a day consistently is one of the best ways to build a study habit anyway without burning out. There is no trial period, no credit card required, and no hidden BS. You just sign in with Google and start practicing. (There are paid tiers if you want unlimited daily questions, but the 20/day is there for anyone who needs it, forever).
I really hope this helps some of you pass and takes a little bit of the financial weight off your shoulders.
Let me know if you guys have any feedback or feature requests! I’m still actively working on it. Good luck to everyone testing soon! 🩺
