For as long as I can remember I have had these small baby hair patches that have never grown with the rest of my hair. I’m not concerned about them being traction alopecia from wearing my hair up as I‘ve always had them, even growing up when i almost exclusively wore my hair down.

I am however getting a bit self conscious of them looking like bald spots. I got bangs a couple years ago so I tie or pin my hair back out of my face a lot more now, so they are way more noticeable. Is there any way i could try grow these out, or is it unlikely since they have never been able to grow past this length?

He thinks it may be a dragonfly nymph but would be good to get confirmation!
