How quickly do you go through hay with 2 piggies?

I'm planning on getting 2 guinea pigs at some point next year when I move houses as I will have enough space for them then. I've been doing tons and tons of research in preparation for them, and that ofc includes budgeting. So I'd like to hear from experienced owners - how fast do you go through hay with your piggies & how many piggies do you have? I'd also like to know if you use hay just for feeding or as bedding as well. Thank you in advance!
