Ceiling vs Mounted outdoor speakers

I am building a roof over my 40 x 16 deck. Ceiling will be 9.5' at the highest and 8' at the lowest. I am debating in ceiling like KEF CI200ER vs speakers like the Polk Atrium 8. If in ceiling, I'd probably do 6 or 8 with at least one subwoofer. If mounted I'd hope to not worry about a subwoofer for now. Looking for recommendations thankyou !

Hi - I live backed up to what is public land. Lately I've been having an issue where ATV's and dirt bikes are riding right against my property. This breaks 4 town ordinances:

  1. Riding within 450ft of a dwelling

  2. Riding on unpermitted land (confirmed with zoning department)

  3. Riding without a permit (confirmed with zoning department)

  4. Noise over 65db measured on my property

Not to sound like a Karen, but they are coming out when my daughters go to bed, and honestly after a long week of work the last thing I want to listen to is their BS.

I've reported this to the police, they said because they're wearing masks there's nothing they can do. Now they are purposefully revving by my house in retaliation to me calling the police. I just got a long distance drone to investigate myself.

In the mean time, will a lawyer help push the police to investigate this? I've gone down to the station to discuss a recording of them simply sitting on the trails looking at my property and revving their engine. The police do not care. What's my next move? Will a lawyer help push this issue? Police told me to file a complaint with the courts but I don't really know how to represent this issue in a meaningful way to where something can be done.

Got my Searwood about 2 weeks ago. so far I’ve cooked some Ribeyes and just yesterday did about 26lbs of bacon. i was impressed with the high heat for steaks, but really impressed by the flavor profile on the bacon. I had an old traeger that couldn’t stand up to my stick burner (OJ highland reverse flow). but now I am designing an outdoor patio and wondering if Id miss my stick burner. I have a young family and maintaining a fire all day isn’t ideal. has anyone else had their Searwood completely replace their stick burner? any regrets? I’m worried I’ll miss a good rib roast or brisket so I may try those before committing
