What is the name of this speakers input port?

Hello everyone.
I'm trying to buy a PA system, so I can use with bands to play at weddings and bars. Probably going to fully mic drums and having the bass in the system. There is also a chance I need to use it outside. Don't know for how many people.
I've already chosen the mixing console, so my budget it's reduced to 1800€. I have the ability to buy gear without the VAT included, so the speakers could eventually go until 2200€ wit VAT.
Been looking at some systems from Alto and The Box Pro, like the or the
but don't know if I would get something that would serve me.
Any suggestions on something that good on that price range?
Thank you in advance
First of all I would like to thank this subreddit, as the knowledge that has given me over this short period that I'm into this journey, is much appreciated.
I ended up getting Kef Q1 Meta (returned the Triangle BR04 cause they were too loud and forward, and maybe a bit fatiguing too).
I love the Kefs but one thing I am missing (compared to the Triangles at least) is some punch and liveliness, especially at the drum kicks (50-100 Hz range probably). I don't care at all about the lower bass though.
So two questions from me:
Anyway, thanks a lot for everything so far.
I'm thinking about buying a Rode PodMic with a Focusrite Scarlett 4th Gen, either the 2i2 or the Solo, mainly for gaming, Discord, and some recording.
These are the options that fit my quality and aesthetic preferences best.
I'm leaning more toward the Solo because it’s smaller, cheaper, and I also don't need the extra XLR input. But the Solo only has 57 dB of mic gain, and since the PodMic has a sensitivity of -57 dBV, I often read that it works best with around 60 to 70 dB of gain. That's where the 2i2 seems better, since it offers 69 dB.
So my main question is: how important is that gain difference in real use?
My mic would usually be quite close to my mouth, and I’m not a particularly quiet speaker.
will be used for running and mtn biking
Hi everyone. :)
I'm new to filming/audio and would really appreciate some advice, please. I'm shooting talking heads/interview style on a Sony A7iii, with the Sony 50mm prime. I also have a Zoom H4n Pro, if that's useful info. I think I can use it to record the audio with a lav mic attached?
There are a lot of options for all sorts of lav mics, and I'm finding it hard to find info on how these will work with the A7iii, what other gear I might need, how to set it up, etc.
My preferred method for capturing audio is to use a decent small lav mic, but I don't know which one is best to buy. I don't like the boxy wireless versions as they look intrusive worn on the body.
I wouldn't shoot with the Zoom in shot, though I don't mind a discreet lav mic visible on my lapel. I don't have a massive budget (about £100) and would like to keep the set up relatively simple (this is why I'm looking at lav mics, which seem like the simplest option?). I'm just struggling to understand how these mics connect to the camera. As I already have a Zoom, I thought I'd try to utilise that.
Hopefully that makes sense! Suggestions welcome. :) And thank you.
I recently got my hand on some speakers stored in my parents’ attic. I'm looking for an audio amplifier to go with them but I fear I am missing something.
I have 2 passive speakers with 2 RCA input each (30W 40Ohms) and one active sub woofer (1 RCA).
Pictures attached are a schematic of what i seek to achieve and the connection of one speaker
I started looking at 2.1 amplifier but I don’t nmknow how to handle the 2x2RCA.
Am I on the right track or is there something I need to search for specifically ?
I want to use my airpods with an ipod mini gen 2 that I just bought. I want to use an adapter instead of opening the shell, but I want it to be small enough that the whole thing will fit in my pocket. any suggestions?
