Warranty

Has anyone used the warranty that is provided with the ring plan? I’m not having much luck getting them to honor it. Was just curious if this is just some bs they claim to provide but when it comes time to file a claim they deny it for any list of reasons.

Splotchy dark spots on plaster

Last fall this one area of my pool developed this splotchy black spots on the plaster. It’s only about a 3x3 area and didn’t spread. Hasn’t gotten better or worse through out the winter/spring. I don’t think it’s black algae. Could this be metal stains?

Not asking for a vendor or source. Just how to find. I know how to find peptides but having a hard time finding Lipo-c. I can find compounding pharmacies that make it but you need a prescription from a dr. Anyone have any thoughts on the process here?

Posted a while back about Costco tricolor tabs and quite a few here suggested liquid chlorine. Fast forward to yesterday I wake up and pool is looking a little cloudy and a little green. Not much algae sticking to the plaster just more of the water itself having a tinge of green. Poured 48 oz of liquid chlorine in and bam 💥. 20 l-30 minutes later pool was clear. Green was gone.

Question. Can I pour directly into the skimmer? Also how many times a week are people adding liquid chlorine? I know there are other factors that go into this just trying see what others are doing.

*Update*
Took water in to get tested and they told me I had “chlorine lock”
Fc .23
Total 2.21
Ph 8.4
Alkalinity 99
Cya 48.

I’m going to add 100oz of acid in two 50oz increments. Thoughts on the chlorine?

Leaking water from the bottom. Hoses aren’t leaking and doesn’t appear that the drain hose is leaking. I was gone for a few days and the washer hadn’t run and came home yesterday and there was water on the floor. Any thoughts? I’ll get the model number when I get home today. Thanks for any help.
