Social life with Invisalign?

How do you handle social life with Invisalign? I’m starting my treatment next month and I’m wondering how I’ll navigate this. I’m newly divorced in my early 30s. I love grabbing dinner and drinks with friends, and I am considering starting to date again soon.

Are my wine/cocktails and appetizer days gone for the foreseeable future?! Do you take your aligners out during the date and put them back in after? Brush your teeth at the restaurant? No snacks or drinks at the movies? What’s everyone doing?

I ran the Broad Street Run in Philly, it’s a 10 mile race. I had only completed a full 10 miles once during my training a few weeks ago. People always say adrenaline on race day gives you a boost, and I severely underestimated that. I also improved my breathing and my cadence (not showing up in Apple from my Garmin for some reason) which made a big difference I think. It was just a good run day for me and I feel so lucky. Weather- great. Vibes- immaculate. The spectators- unmatched. I love my city. I beat my goal time and PR’d and I’m so proud. If you told me 5 months ago I did this I wouldn’t have believed you.

Wasn’t sure how to eat it so I just tried a little bit of everything! Fishwife smoked trout chimi (controversial I know) but it was sooo tasty. Started with the “safer” option but excited to try the mackerel and eventually want to try some sardines. The skin and bones just kinda freak me out! But I really want to like them lol

Hi all!

I made an extremely impulsive purchase after doing minimal research. Honestly, I was so overwhelmed with all the different options, specs, pricing, etc.

I ended up coming across a refurbished “Amazon Renewed” forerunner 265s for $248 (was $269 but I had a $37 credit to use).

I’m a moderately active person who runs and does HIIT, strength training, and in the winter I snowboard. I mainly want to track health/fitness. I could never wear my watch to sleep bc my current one has to be charged overnight, so also excited to try tracking my sleep. I’m an Apple Watch user but currently I don’t even use my watch for calls/messages. I actually have that function disabled entirely.

I went with the 265s for the price and the size on my wrist (was worried going to a full size would be a drastic difference and feel too bulky, plus I’m frugal)

So; what do you think? Will this watch suit my needs? Was it worth the money? It gets delivered tomorrow so I haven’t even laid eyes on it yet!

For context I’m going through a divorce and this whole process is really difficult. Moving out of my first home, back to single apartment living. Trying to stay optimistic. Struggling to decide which is the better option here. I’m a woman in my early 30s, I do have a car so walkability not a deal breaker but desirable.

Price is a negligible difference so not a factor

Apartment 1

Pros: cleaner, more updated kitchen/cozy, wood floors, lots of sunlight, desirable location in the middle of town, walkable

Cons: much smaller than #2, shared laundry in basement, 2nd level (private fire escape entrance), limited parking

Apartment 2

Pros: laundry in unit, larger overall, large private parking lot, shared yard space, 1st floor

Cons: much more outdated, rough around the edges, darker/not a lot of sunlight, mostly carpeted, farther outside of town (only by ~1/2 mile) but no sidewalks and in a busy road so not as walkable.

Am I crazy for considering the cozier apt despite it being significantly smaller and no in unit laundry? It’s been a while since I’ve lived in an apartment and I’ve never had to share laundry before. I know decorating can help with #2, but it can only do so much with what I have to work with lol.

Lmk your thoughts! WWYD?

I have an employee who is chronically late. When I run an audit trail report it shows some weird activity. This employee does not have supervisor permissions, must be within geofence to clock in, and should not be able to edit or correct her own punches without approval.

I am watching her pull into the parking lot at 10:02, but somehow she is changing her punch time to 9:59. Paylocity keeps telling me this is not an issue on their end and that our “clocks must be off”. I have verified our security cameras match the universal clock as well as Paylocity. And, like I said, I am watching her physically pull into the parking lot at 10:02 (not within geofence) but somehow there is activity showing she changed her punch time to 9:59. This has happened countless times where she is changing her punch time anywhere from 2-7 mins earlier than she actually enters the geofence.

How could she possibly be doing this??

Edit to add: wow! I underestimated the leaps and bounds of assumptions and accusations that would be made on a payroll subreddit. I wasn’t looking for managerial advice, or to be diagnosed with ADHD/OCD. Simply was looking to see if anyone here had insight on how to interpret the audit trail or if there were known workarounds or glitches that could cause this. Thanks to those who gave genuine advice, I will certainly not ask a question around here again 😂
