Is this gear good enough for a gig?

I have a gig this Friday. It’s mostly Jazz and blues so no need for heavy distortion. I never played a gig before so I’m nervous on what to bring.

White men have no empathy at all.

A woman loses her job- they’ll make reaction videos and comments about how a useless “gender studies” degree wasn’t worth it and they should’ve stayed in the kitchen.

A black man talks about job discrimination- they’ll say DEI or black people don’t work hard enough that’s why they’re not getting hired.

Your middle aged and you get a chronic illness- maybe they should’ve went to the gym and eat better blah blah, prostate cancer is genetic dude how does the gym cure that.

Idk it feels like a lot of them are borderline psychopaths.

Technology has came a long way.

Got this amp at my music store for $200. Lightweight and I can get 80% of the sound from a tube amp without the massive weight and volume.

Why does everyone love the boss katana so much?

I’m not sure if I’m not dialing the settings correctly but every one I’ve played doesn’t sound good at all. I have an old fender solid state amp and I prefer that. But so many YouTubers and other folks love this as an amp you can professionally gig with.

I play clean 80% of the time so it could be that.

28 years old, just coming to the realization that I’ll never be able to afford to live on my own(without roommates), can’t afford to children, bad credit, no savings, no retirement, went to college for computer science and can’t find a job.

I’m working in construction and it sucks, it’s manual labor, and I’m only making $24 an hour. Everytime I tried to apply for an office job I get rejected every time. Since I’m 6’4 I remember I had an interview with Leidos(tech company) and they referred me to an armed security role when I initially applied for a software engineering role.

Someone was selling a tele on Marketplace. The neck feels great, the neck pickup sounds good. The bridge pickup is a dimarzio hot rail pickup.

It doesn’t have the tele twang but it sounds like a single coil. I play mostly blues and jazz so I found this guitar pretty interesting.

I’m debt free. I work as a pizza delivery driver. I make around $3000 a month. I have an early 2000s Acura that requires premium gas. It costs $55 to fill up and I get gas twice a week.

I’m not sure what to do at this point. I have an interview Thursday for a different job but who knows if I’ll get that job.
