I’ve been working at my job for a few months and have already asked my boss once about hiring someone. I only asked because we were short staffed. Still haven't gotten a response yet...

A family member recently asked me to talk to my boss for them. They have been insisting and pushing.

I’m hesitant because we don’t have a great relationship, and I don’t want to mix work and family more than necessary. They already have a job, but they struggle with managing money and often spend it irresponsibly. They can also be unreliable and sometimes change their decisions depending on their partner’s influence.

I also feel awkward because I’m still quite new at the job.

Am I wrong for not wanting to get involved or ask my boss again?

* I love: Fantasy worlds with strong world building.

: Magic systems + dragons 🐉 (important to the story not just in the background).

: Adventure + solid plot

: Slow burn romance with yearning and tension (good banter and character chemistry)

~~~
* I prefer: Little to no spice (if there is any it should matter to the story and not feel random)
: Emotional connection over physical scenes with well developed characters
~~~

♡Any recommendations appreciated 🙏

What are your thoughts on BookTok recommendations?

I’ve read a few popular ones and noticed a lot lean heavily into smut. Honestly, not trying to be rude, but are these books actually worth the hype, or are these people just late bloomers who never went through a Wattpad or AO3 phase?

Also, the majority of my books were labeled as BookTok favorites, which I got from my local bookstores. Not all of them were from social media recommendations.

*Please try to be nice about it and be respectful to others.

Thank you.😊
