I’ve been getting into breaking recently, and I’m realizing how much arm strength and control it actually takes. Stuff like freezes and basic power moves feel way harder than they look.

Right now my arms get tired really fast, and I struggle to hold positions cleanly.

What exercises or drills helped you build the arm strength for breaking? And how often do you train without overdoing it?

I’ve been learning Mandarin for a while now, and I feel like I hit a wall around HSK3. I can understand basic stuff and short conversations, but anything slightly more complex just loses me. And when I try to speak, I end up using the same simple sentence patterns over and over. I’m studying pretty regularly - vocab apps, some grammar, a bit of listening - but progress feels really slow lately. Is this just a normal plateau stage? Or did you guys change something in your study routine that helped you push past this level?
