Why is instagram so bad on android??

iPhone and Android user here. When I recently got my galaxy phone the first thing I noticed was how bad the instagram app is compared to iPhone.

Takes forever to load, when it does load just scrolling down the feed and it’s starts spazzing out and going 0-100mph. Flipping over on a carousel post and it glitches over to reals everytime.

It doesn’t feel like a real app.

I’ve been an iPhone user the last 10+ years and I’ve recently got an s24 as a secondary phone.

Why is touch so sensitive??? Scrolling on instagram is so jumpy. Flipping through a carousel is almost impossible without it tabbing over to reals. Scrolling on chrome goes 1mph or 1000mph. Is this really what it’s like on galaxy or android phones?

It’s almost unusable. On instagram and I want to scroll down to the next post in my feed, one small flick and it’s flying past multiple posts.
