I’m running a small Shopify jewelry brand (price point $80–$230) and I’m honestly stuck. I’ve spent the last few months trying to set up everything properly (Meta Pixel + Conversions API via Shopify native integration), but performance is still very weak.

Current situation:

  • ~8 purchases in 3 months
  • Very low Add-to-Cart rate
  • Meta Events Manager shows PageView / ViewContent / AddToCart firing, but Event Match Quality for AddToCart is 0.0
  • Overview shows browser + server events, but Test Events mostly shows browser only
  • Running small budget ads but not scaling because nothing is converting

What I’ve already checked:

  • Shopify Meta (Facebook & Instagram) integration is set to “Maximum data sharing”
  • Pixel is firing correctly
  • Events are being received
  • CAPI is supposedly active (browser + server in overview, but not in test events)

Where I’m confused:
I don’t know if the issue is:

  • Tracking / CAPI setup (EMQ = 0.0 on Add to Cart worries me)
  • Product page / offer not strong enough
  • Bad traffic quality from ads
  • Or just not enough volume for Meta to learn

I’ve seen people say:

  • “Don’t add extra tracking apps until ATC is confirmed working”
  • “0.0 EMQ usually means missing user data like fbp/fbc/em/ph”
  • “At low volume, Meta just doesn’t have enough signal anyway”

My questions:

  1. What are you using for Meta CAPI on Shopify that actually improved signal quality?
  2. Is GTM + Stape worth it if you’re not technical, or is it risky?
  3. At low purchase volume, should I even focus on tracking right now or fix product/ads first?
  4. What is most likely broken when Add-to-Cart shows 0.0 EMQ but events are firing?
  5. How are small fashion/jewelry brands actually structuring their Meta ads at ~$20–50/day budgets?

I feel like something is broken, but i can't figure what... my website is themiddlechild.online , instagram the__middle__child, if anyone can help check from ads library as well what did i do wrong. i'm really desperate and need help.

I’m not trying to buy tools blindly — just trying to understand what’s actually broken vs what’s normal at this stage.

Any honest feedback from people who’ve been through this would really help.

Calling jewelry store owners running Meta ads in the US — would love to hear how your setup looks.

I'm selling jewelry at $165–$230 per piece and trying to figure out if I'm spreading my budget on the wrong placements.

My gut feeling is that buyers come from Instagram, not Facebook. The aesthetic, the discovery, the impulse — it all feels more Instagram. Facebook feels outdated for this price point and demographic. But I don't want to assume.

A few questions:

  1. Are you running Instagram only or Facebook + Instagram? What's actually converting for you?

  2. At a $165–$230 price point, what placements perform best — feed, reels, stories?

  3. Any specific audience setup working well for jewelry at this price point in the US?

  4. Is Advantage+ placements worth using or do you manually control where your ads show?

Running a small daily budget so every placement matters. Would really appreciate honest answers from people actually running jewelry ads — not general Meta advice.

Running a Shopify store selling jewelry ($80–$230 price point), about 8 purchases in 3 months. I know the volume is low but I'm trying to fix my Meta algorithm before scaling.

Currently only using Shopify's native Facebook & Instagram CAPI + Pixel integration. My Event Match Quality scores are 6.1/10 for PageView and ViewContent, and 0.0/10 for Add to Cart — for the past 3 days which I think is killing my campaigns since Meta has no signal on purchase intent.

I want to add a 3rd party tracking app to fix this. I've seen people mention:

- Elevar

- TrackBee

- Wetracked

- GTM + Stape

My questions:

  1. What are you actually using and seeing results with for Meta CAPI on Shopify?

  2. Is GTM + Stape doable without being technical? Or will I break things trying to set it up alone?

  3. Is it even worth investing in better tracking at low purchase volume, or should I fix other things first? i can't keep waste money for broken ads

Budget is tight so free or cheap options preferred. Not a developer. Any honest experience appreciated, not looking for someone to sell me something.
